Longmire, Margie

ALBANY- Margie (White) Longmire, 85, died Friday, October 28, 2011 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Butler, AL, she was the daughter of the late Frazier and Lulabee (Dozier) White.

Wife of the late Willie R. Longmire; mother of McCell (Shelly) Longmire, Vivian (Haywood) Watson, Carleen Longmire, Brenda Longmire, Elroy (Kim) Longmire and the late Earnestine Longmire; sister of Louise Everett and the late Benny White; sister-in-law of Alice Davis and Belove Cook; also survived by a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 269 Spruce St. Albany, NY 12210. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the church from 9 to 11 am prior to the service. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery, Albany, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Foundation, Pine West Plaza, Bldg. 2, Suite 204 Washington Ave. Ext., Albany, NY 12205.
