Kuhn, Elizabeth M.

ALBANY- Elizabeth M. “Betty” Kuhn, 88, died suddenly, Wednesday, January 30, 2013. Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late Adolph and Elizabeth (Fisher) Kuhn. Miss Kuhn was a 1942 graduate of Philip Schuyler High School. She was a secretary with the NYS Department of Education for 31 years, retiring in 1980. Miss Kuhn was a member of the former Evangelical Protestant Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher for over 50 years.

She was predeceased by her sister Arline Kuhn and two brothers, Donald and Alan Kuhn. Survivors include her sister-in-law, Theresa Kuhn and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Dr. Robert R. Quimby and staff of Delmar for the care extended to Elizabeth through the years.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment in the Evangelical Protestant Church Cemetery will take place this Spring.
