Kelly Moran

GLENMONT- Kelly Moran, 58, of Glenmont, N.Y. passed away on May 10 at Albany Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.

Daughter of Samuel and Kathleen Fresina, Kelly was born in Albany, N.Y. on August 3, 1965. She later moved to Clifton Park where she attended Shenendehowa High School and then Hudson Valley Community College.

Kelly worked for 30 years as the office manager for Laborers’ Local 190 where she formed many special relationships with the members and their families.

Kelly was a wonderful mother who devoted many years to traveling for her children’s sporting events. She cherished the time she had spent volunteering as a religious education teacher at Mater Christi. Kelly also loved traveling with her friends and family, especially summer vacations to the beaches of Maine and Wildwood, N.J.

She is survived by her husband, Sean Moran; her children Sean Moran, Katie Moran, and Tommy Moran; her brothers Samuel Fresina (Jayne) and Anthony Fresina (Lori); her cherished nieces and nephews; as well as many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.

Kelly’s funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday May 16, 2024 at 12 noon in Mater Christi Church 40 Hopewell St. Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also visit with her family prior to her service from 10 am to 11:45 am at the church.
