ALBANY-William Larry Keen, 66, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 after a long illness. Born in Danville, VA he was the son of Frances L. (Robertson) Keen and the late Henry B. Keen. He retired from the CSX Railroad after 30 years of service.
In addition to his mother, those who will miss him and forever cherish his loving and caring spirit include his wife, Anita D. (Adams) Keen; his brother, Henry M. (Kathy) Keen; his god-sister Lisa Cox, children, William "Pookey" Bell and Frances L. Bell; an aunt, uncle, seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 29, 2012 in the Friendship Baptist Church, 407 Union St., Schenectady, NY 12305. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Church prior to the service from 10-11 a.m.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions in William’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 260 Osborne Rd., Loudonville, NY 12211.
