Jurcsak, Janyce M.

ALBANY- Janyce M. (Lawson) Jurcsak, 80, entered into Eternal life on Saturday, February 17th 2018 at St. Peters Hospital. Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Thomas H. and Bernice (Shields) Lawson. Janyce retired in 1993 from the Albany School District where she was employed as a secretary at the Street Academy of Albany.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband of 55 years William C. Jurcsak and two infant daughters, Mary Beth and Christine Marie. Survivors include her children William of Derry NH, Paul (Hiroko) of Waipahu, HI, Lori Watson (John) of Bridgewater NJ, Thomas (Alisa) of Albany, NY, Michael (Sheila) of Chesterfield VA, and Sandra Losee (Cliff Shufelt) of Guilderland, NY; nine grandchildren and one great grandson.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday February 22, at 1:00 pm in Christ the King Church, 20 Sumter Ave. Westmere. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 would be appreciated.
