ALBANY- Charles H. Jordan "Chuck", 90, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family and loved ones on Dec. 11,2017. Born in Buffalo NY and raised in Western New York he was the oldest son of Henry and Helen Jordan. Chuck was a graduate of Medina high school, entered the Army after high school, qualified as a paratrooper, and attended the University of Detroit. Chuck worked for the 3M Company as a Sales Representative in New York State and moved to the Sun Oil Company "SUNOCO" where he had a 33 year career and retired as an Area Manager. Chuck was chairman of the New York State Oil Information Committee, served on the Saint Bernadette's Parish Council, was president of the Saint Bernadette Ushers Society and a 3rd degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Chuck especially enjoyed his grandchildren, manhattans, golf and reading. Always a gentleman, he was admired and respected by many and the twinkle in his eye will be greatly missed.

Beloved husband of 61 years to Mary Beth Somerville. Devoted and loving father of Paula Jordan Pierro and her husband Lou of Loudonville NY, and Charlie Jordan and his wife Kathy of Medfield, MA. Cherished grandfather of Kevin,Katherine and Connor Jordan and Victoria, Jordan,and Cameron Pierro. Treasured brother of William Jordan of St. Petersburg FL. Loving in-laws, Sister Jane Somerville of Albany NY, and Ret. Col. Paul Somerville, and his wife Carole of Woodbridge VA. In addition he is survived by several nieces and nephews and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family on Wednesday December 13, from 4-7 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Albany. The parish family of Christ the King Church will gather at 3:30 pm for a service of prayer and remembrance. All are welcome. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, December 14, at 10:00 am in Christ the King Church, 20 Sumter Ave. Guilderland. Interment will follow the Mass in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
