Jones, William Neal

ALBANY – William Neal Jones, 97, passed away peacefully, Thursday, February 10, 2022. Born in Massachusetts he was the son of the late Neal Jones and Mary Palmatier Jones Meach. Neal worked for CIBRO Oil Company for many years. He enjoyed daily outings with his wife Virginia, especially trips to Dunkin Donuts.

Neil is survived by his wife of 74 years, Virginia; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Donald, Robert and Richard and his sisters, Eunice and Arlene.

His family wishes to thank the staff at St. Peter’s Nursing and Rehabilitation for their care and compassion.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Neal’s family on Wednesday, February 16 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. prior to his funeral service at 1:00pm. The family requests that masks be worn. Interment will follow in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands.
