John Scarpellino

John Scarpellino, 82, of Rensselaer, passed away on May 30, 2024, with his loving family by his side. Born in Providence Rhode Island on September 14, 1941, he is the son of the late Giovannie and Edna (Wise) Scarpellino.

Survived by his daughters Karen Scarpellino Kelley, Jean Meher (Bryon) and grandchildren William John Thibodeau III, Aiden Kelley and Lauren Meher. He is also survived by his brother Tom (Frankie) and many nieces and nephews.

During his lifetime he worked for Amtrak for many years until he retired and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed playing golf especially with his grandson and spending time with his friends down at the Post.
