Joan M. Boyd

Joan M. Boyd, 84, passed away on January 27th, 2024.  Born and raised in Albany, Joan was the mother of 5 children.  However, many considered Joan a second mother.  She cared deeply for her family, friends and neighbors and she was well-loved by all.

Joan was the daughter of the late William Hayward and Anna Mae Estes.  Joan was predeceased by her daughter LeeAnn and her grandson Daniel.  She is survived by her daughters Kim and Gabriella, her sons George (Duffy) and Daniel and her cherished grandchildren, Gene, Karyn, Shaleeak, Michael (Shawn), Gerael and Di'Andre. Joan is also survived by her loving sister Chrissy McCullough, and by many great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave, Albany, NY from 11am to 12 noon followed by burial at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, NY.
