Hicks, Ann M.

SCHENECTADY-Ann M. (Davis) Hicks, 79, died Friday, July 5, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. Born and educated in Albany she was the daughter of the late George and Jeanette (Oliver) Davis. Mrs. Hicks was a cashier at the University of Albany-SUNY for many years retiring in 2008. She enjoyed going to casinos.

Wife of the late Henry Hicks; beloved mother of Ann (Wayne) Davis, Alice (Steve) Kearsing, Henry Hicks, Deedee Kelly, Robert Hicks, Rocky (Beth) Hicks, Lisa (Mike) Kearsing, Sissy (Mark) Campbell and the late Earl Nicholson. She is also survived by three sisters, two brothers, 20 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home. All are welcome to attend. Calling hours will be on Monday, July 8, 2013 from 4 to 8 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, 2150 Central Ave., Schenectady NY 12304.
