Hauth, Robert P.

ALBANY- Robert P. Hauth, 53, died suddenly Monday, December 5, 2011 at his home. Born and educated in Albany, he was the son of Walter Hauth and the late Dorothy (Burns) Hauth. Bobby was a graduate of Albany High School, attended Hudson Valley Community College and, was honorably discharged from the US Navy. He worked for the NYS Office of General Services for over 25 years. Bobby was a member of the Polish American Club and volunteered annually at the Equinox Thanksgiving dinner. He was very spiritual and a kind and gentle person. He had an unquenchable thirst for knowledge and was an avid reader. Bobby loved spending time with family and enjoyed biking throughout the area. In addition to his father, he will be greatly missed by his beloved brothers and sisters; William (Kathy) Schwinghammer, Gail (Kevin) McCarthy, Lisa A. Hauth, Gregory (Cindy) Hauth and Karen (Mike Brown) Hauth; and his two aunts Peg DeMarco and Nancy (Ed) Lynch. He is also survived by many, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews who loved Uncle Bobby dearly as well as many cousins.

Funeral services will be held, Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 9:30 am in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home Friday, December 9, 2011 from 4- 7 pm. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to, Shrine of Our Lady of Martyrs, (Auriesville Shrine) 136 Shrine Rd. Fultonville, NY 12016. Interment will follow the service in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, East Greenbush.
