Gerasia, Patrick V.

ALBANY- Patrick V. Gerasia, 41, died suddenly Friday, October 14, 2011 at home. Born in Albany, he was the son of the late John and Shirley (LaFontaine) Gerasia and graduated from Albany High School Class of 1988. He was a brick layer with BAC International, Local #2. Patrick will always be remembered for his love of music and his passion for playing the drums.

He is survived by his children, Patrick, Jacqueline and Lyndsey Gerasia; and his brothers, John (Wendy), James (Jane), Joseph, and Jerome Gerasia. He is also survived by his special companion, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 9:15 am from the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc, 490 Delaware Ave, thence to St, Francis of Assisi Parish (formerly St. James Church) 391 Delaware Ave. where a Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home Tuesday, October 18, 2011 from 4-7 pm. Interment, St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
