Gendreau, Jules

ALBANY- Jules Gendreau, 80, passed away at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital on Wednesday, June 08, 2022 after a long illness.

Born and educated in Vermont, he was the son of the late Hermas and Marie (Garon) Gendreau. Jules served in the US Air Force from 1962-1966. He worked as a mail sorter for the US Postal service for over 30 years, retiring in 2000. He was a longtime communicant of the former Our Lady Help of Christians Church.

Mr. Gendreau was predeceased by his wife Gail. He is survived by his children Genet (James) Hoffman and Matthew Gendreau; grandchildren Jordan and Cameron Hoffman and Ariana Gendreau.

Funeral services will be held privately.
