Gebhardt-Bryant, Patricia

ALBANY- Patricia M. “Patty” Gebhardt-Bryant, 64, passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital.

Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late John P. and Margaret M. (Stockman) Gebhardt. Patty was a graduate of Springfield College. She worked as a social worker for the NYS Office of Children and Family Services for many years.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her beloved son, James L. Bryant, Jr. and her sister, Mary Gebhardt Geary. Survivors include her beloved daughter, Courtney Bryant (Scott Thomsen); cherished grandson Patrick Bryant; siblings, Thomas Bruno (Sandra), Joseph Bruno (Karen), John Gebhardt (Cathy), Mark Gebhardt (Karen) and Sheridawn Leitch (Robert); her former husband, James L. Bryant, Sr.; several nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Patty’s family on Thursday, August 17, from 4-7 p.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 18, at 9:45 am from the funeral home, thence to the Parish of Mater Christi, Albany where her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. .
