Fritts, Elizabeth “Bette”

DELMAR- Elizabeth “Bette” (Brohm) Fritts, 86, died Thursday, August 8, 2013 at St. Peter’s Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Elsie (Albert) Brohm. Bette was a graduate of Albany High School and Glens Falls Community Hospital school of Nursing. She worked for Farm Family Life Insurance Company in Glenmont for many years, retiring in 1988. She was a Charter member of the Selkirk Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary and a longtime member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church where she was active in the church quilting group.

She was predeceased by her husband Charles B. Fritts. Survivors include her son Charles J. (Kathy) Fritts, daughter Susan E. Fritts (Ray Ginter); her brother Edwin Brohm; grandchildren Lauren (James) Weigand, David (Justine) Fritts and Jennifer Fritts; and her great-grandson Cameron Weigand.

Calling hours Sunday, August 11, 2013 from 2-5 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 12, 2013 at 10 am in the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Interment will follow the service in Graceland Cemetery.
