– Kathleen Mary Frasier (née Klapp), previously Kathleen Jubrey, 92, died peacefully at home on Monday, August 28, 2023 after a long battle with heart disease, surrounded by her loving family.
Born at 8:15am on August 17, 1931, at the former Albany Hospital, she was the fourth daughter of the late Jacob Klapp and Margaret Coons. Kathleen spent her formative years walking to her one-room schoolhouse and tending her father’s farm in Unionville with her sisters. As the times changed she became a bookkeeper for Smith & Mahoney, from 1971 until her retirement in 1994. In her later years her favorite activity was spending time with her treasured grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her: parents, sisters; Margaret Parker, Marilyn Holmberg, and Ann Boehlke, beloved children; Kathy and Eddie Jubrey, and grandchildren; Agostino and Brian Jubrey II. She felt their losses very deeply and was looking forward to reuniting with them in Heaven. She is survived by her children; Brian (Anne) Jubrey, Mike (Barbara) Jubrey, Kim (the late Jim) Sheldon, and Leslie Frasier, her step-children; Carol (Sam) Gooldy, Richard (Ingrid) Frasier, Gail (the late Jim) Faust, and their families, her grandchildren; Charlie (Gina) Jubrey, Heather Sheldon, Nick (Jenn) Jubrey, Michael (Ashley) Jubrey II, Gregory (Jodi) Sheldon, Michel (Andy) Lara, Jeremy (Erin) Jubrey, and Jonathan Piedmont, 19 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
