Fowler, Tommy J.

ALBANY- Tommy J. Fowler was born in Society Hill, SC on October 11, 1948 to the late Claude Fowler, Sr. and Gladys (Lewis) Fowler. After long-term illness, he entered into his final resting place on Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Albany Memorial Hospital in Albany, NY.

Survivors he left to cherish his loving memory are his sons, Timothy (Rochelle) and Brent Fowler of Colonie, NY; Kadeem and Azayvus Fowler (and their mother and longtime friend, Carolyn Gray) of Troy, NY; two grandchildren, James and Laila Fowler; his brother, Billy Fowler of Rensselaer, NY; two sisters, Lucille Drayton, Virginia Warner, and sister in law, Rosa Fowler of South Carolina; and his niece, Barbara Ann Swinney who was near and dear to him. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Tommy was predeceased by his parents Claude Sr. and Gladys Fowler; his sister, Bessie Mae Williamson; and his two brothers, Claude Jr. and Tracy Fowler.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 26, 2013 at 12 Noon at New Hope Family Life Center, 1244 Broadway, Rensselaer, NY 12144. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Church from 11 a.m. until 12 Noon, prior to the service.
