ALBANY- Brian David Fleming, 52, passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017 in the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital.
Brian was born in Albany and grew up in Delmar. He attended Elsmere Grade School, Our Lady of Angels in Albany and Stowe School in Stowe Vermont.
Brian had an excellent sense of humor. He was an avid bicyclist and skateboarder who also enjoyed skiing, ice hockey, judo, fishing and music. He was an artist and painted many large scale canvases "a la Jackson Pollock”. Brian loved all animals, especially dogs. He was an excellent gardener and cook.
He is predeceased by his father , Gary R. Fleming and his companion, Kristin Romano. Survivors include his mother, Janet (Conahan) Fleming; his brother, John Patrick (Walter) Fleming; his uncle, Robert C. (Barbara) Conahan of Rotterdam; his aunt, Karen (Larry) Fagan of Cape May, NJ. He is also survived by Tierney Rudolph of Schenectady and many good friends including, Gail Roberts, Kathleen McBride and Willard Welch.
Special thanks to the staff at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s for giving Brian such wonderful care, especially nurses, Odette and Robin.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
