ALBANY-Paul W. Feeney, 49, died Saturday, May 4, 2013 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Born in Albany he was the son of Ursula Feeney of New Paltz and the late J. Robert Feeney. Paul was a graduate of Albany Academy Class of 1981 and earned a bachelor’s degree from Hartwick College in Oneonta.
He served in the United States Marine Corps after college, attaining the rank of Captain.
At the time of his death, Paul was the owner/operator of the company he started, Albany Envelope, LLC.
He was a member of the Fort Orange Club and a Communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church. Paul loved good food, good wine and good friends. He was a physical fitness enthusiast, working out at least five times a week even during the course of chemotherapy.
Survivors in addition to his mother include his wife, Jessica Chapman M.D.; his cousin, Dennis (Terry) Feeney of Albany; his in-laws, Robert and Johanne Chapman of Montreal, Canada and many dear close friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 10, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. from the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave., Albany, thence to St. Vincent de Paul Church, 900 Madison Ave, Albany where a Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home on Thursday, May 9, 2013 from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
