Fedele, Nicole

DELANSON-Nicole Fedele, 45, formerly of Albany, died suddenly on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 after being stricken at home. Born in Albany she is the beloved daughter of Joseph F. and Helen (Cross) Fedele, Sr., of Albany. Nicole was a graduate of Bishop Maginn High School and Hudson Valley Community College. At the time of her death she was an Information Technology Specialist with the NYS Teachers’ Retirement System. Nicole loved her two dogs and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

In addition to her parents she is survived by her longtime companion Scott L. Hohn of Delanson and his daughter, Marceline K. Hohn; her siblings, Nina (Chris) O’Brien of Delmar, Helen (Mark) Smith of Selkirk, Ann (Fred) Hasselbarth of Albany and Joseph (Sarah) Fedele, Jr. of Spring, TX.; her nieces and nephews, Shannen O’Brien, Christopher O’Brien, Rachel Smith, Hannah Smith, Zachary Hasselbarth and Abigail Fedele. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Parish of Mater Christi, 40 Hopewell St., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
