SELKIRK- Miriam (Fealey) Fargione, 95, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital.
Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Fealey. She was a graduate of the Academy of the Holy Names, Mildred Elly Business School and also attended the College of St. Rose. She was a devoted wife and mother who lovingly cared for her family. Mrs. Fargione was a lifelong Communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Parish (formerly St. James Church). She was a member of the Rosary society and dedicated Church volunteer.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Alfred E. Fargione, Sr. and son Vincent. Survivors include her children Thomas (Noreen), Alfred (Elizabeth) and Margaret Fargione; mother-in-law of Judy Fargione; also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family Thursday, July 13, 2017 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. Albany. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 391 Delaware Ave. Burial will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
