Dussor, Frances Ruth

BINGHAMTON, NY – Frances “Ruth” Dussor, passed away peacefully on Friday May 6, 2022 at Elizabeth Church Manor Nursing Home, after a brief illness. She was surrounded by immediate family.

Born March 1931 in Albany, NY she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Ehrgott) Dougherty and Francis W. Dougherty. Ruth graduated from Vincentian Institute in Albany, and retired from her last position as an Administrative Assistant with the New York State Attorney Generals Office.

She is survived by son Robert L. (Nancy) Dussor III and predeceased by her son William D. Dussor.

Ruth is also survived by grandsons Andrew and Matthew Dussor, her sister Margaret Buongiorno, and nieces Judy Ellison, Sandra Anderson and Nancy Clemente as well as many other nieces and nephews.

A private service and burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery, 481 Rt. 9W in Glenmont, on Thursday May 12, 2022 at 11:45am.
