SCITUATE, MA – William “Bill” Dussor, 60, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 peacefully in his home, after losing his courageous battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family in Scituate, Massachusetts.
Born in Albany, NY on November 28, 1957, he was the son of Ruth Dussor and Robert L. Dussor Jr. In addition to his parents Bill is also survived by his brother Robert L. (Nancy) Dussor III; his nephews Andrew and Matthew Dussor. Judy, Sandy, and Nancy also survive Bill.
Bill graduated from Cardinal McCloskey High School in Albany, NY. He later received his Bachelor of Science degree in May 1979 from Siena College in Loudonville, NY. He was most recently employed by the International Health, Racquet & Sports Club Association (IHRSA), traveling all over the world in his position as Vice President of Meetings & Trade Shows. Bill competed/ran in and successfully completed two Boston Marathons.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life to be held at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home 490 Delaware Ave., Albany on Saturday January 20, 2018 at 10 am. Visiting hours will be held in the funeral home on Friday January 19, 2018 from 5-7 pm. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
A Memorial service will also be held in Scituate, MA on February 10, 2018 at 10 am in St. Mary of the Nativity Church, 1 Kent St. Scituate Harbor, MA.
