Dunbar, Joseph J. Iii

COLONIE- Joseph J. Dunbar III, 57, died peacefully, in his sleep, Sunday, November 25, 2012. Born in Niskayuna he was the son of Joseph J. Dunbar, II and the late Barbara Watson Dunbar.

Joe was a graduate of Philip Schuyler High School and was a self employed general contractor. He was a gifted craftsman who did beautiful carpentry work throughout the Capital District. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling and spending time with his beloved grandson and his dog “Babygirl”

In addition to his father, survivors include his daughter Nicole T. Dunbar and son Joseph J. Dunbar, IV; siblings, Lisa, Kyle and Alexander “Lex” Dunbar; grandson, Joseph J. Dunbar V, and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his former spouse Millie Bruso Dunbar.

Funeral services Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Calling hours Friday, November 30, 2012 from 4-7 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial,St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, NY. Memorial contributions to Children’s Hospital of Albany Medical Center, 43 New Scotland Ave. Albany, NY 12208 would be appreciated.
