GLENMONT – Kenneth F. Drobner, Sr., 83, died Tuesday, August 03, 2021 surrounded by his family. Born in Easton, NY he was the son of the late Arthur and Florence (Sheldon) Drobner. Kenneth lived most of his life in Selkirk and worked as a conductor for Conrail, later CSX in Selkirk where he was known as “Drawbar”. He was the former owner of Cedar Hill Tavern in Selkirk.
He was the husband of 54 years to Hope Carpenter Drobner; father of Tracie (Paul) Roberts of Glenmont, Terry (Ray Hazzard) Tornquist of Glenmont, Dawn (Terry) Anderson of Salem, Alabama, Candi (Eugene) Millett of Knoxville, TN, and Kenneth (Robin) Drobner of West Coxsackie; also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and his brothers Everett and Randall Drobner. He was predeceased by his sister Ardell Hughes and his brother Daniel Drobner.
His family would like to thank the St. Peter’s Hospital, 5thfloor nurses and tech’s for their care as well as his friends at Van Allen Senior Housing.
