Devlin, Mary Clare

ALBANY - It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Clare Devlin announces her passing, quietly in the care of the Joan Nicole Prince Home, Saturday, June 22, 2019, at the age of 81 years.

She was born in Albany, NY and was the daughter of Dutch and Marie Holland (predeceased) and wife of Michael Hall Devlin of Schenectady, NY.

Mary Clare will lovingly be remembered by her three children, Mark (Donna), Patrick (Kim) and Meg (Paul). Mary Clare will also be remembered by her 7 grandchildren, Daniel, Michelle, John, Andrew, Jimmy and Joseph and Marissa Gianetti.

Mary Clare worked for the NY State Licensing Division. She was active in all activities at Mater Christi Parish. She was an avid quilter and loved to play Bridge with her friends at the local bridge club.Her favorite family vacations were at Harvey Cedars, Long Beach Island New Jersey during the summers, and she passed on this love of LBI and its beach to her family.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 11:00 am in Mater Christi Catholic Church, 40 Hopewell St, Albany, with Fr. John Cronin officiating.

Interment will follow the Mass in Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery in Glenmont.
