Derossi, Mary T.

ALBANY - Mary (Trimarchi) DeRossi, 91, entered into eternal life, Tuesday, August 20, 2013 peacefully with her family at her side. Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Carmelo and Antonina (DeStefano) Trimarchi. She was a Communicant of All Saints Catholic Church and the Chapel of Our Lady of the Assumption in Hulett’s Landing, NY. Mary and her husband spent summers residing in Hulett’s Landing for the past 35 years. Her family, cooking and holiday gatherings were the most important part in her life.

Mary was married for 66 years to Dr. Francis R. DeRossi, who predeceased her in 2008. She is the mother of John (Robin) DeRossi of Diamond Point, Mike (Nancy) DeRossi and Suzanne De Rossi of Albany; sister of the late Vincent (late Marion) Trimarchi and Rose Salvo; grandmother of Laura (Jack) Sousa, Michele DeRossi, Julie (Owen) Smith, Abbey DeRossi, Halle DeRossi, David Menneto and Andrew Menneto; also survived by 5 great-grandchildren, her brother-in-law Lou Salvo and several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the staff at St. Peter’s Hospital for their care and compassion during our mother’s illness.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, August 24, 2013 at 9:00 am in the Infant of Prague Chapel at the Teresian House. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. on Friday, August 23, 2013 from 4-8 pm. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to the Teresian House, 200 Washington Ave. Ext. Albany, NY 12203. Inurnment will follow the Mass in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
