D’ANTONIO, BRENDA R.
ALBANY Brenda R. D’Antonio, 78, entered into the Kingdom of Heaven surrounded by her loving family on Friday, November 20, 2009 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital.
Born and raised in Albany she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Gnagnaerella) DiBiase.
Her first and foremost love was to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Through his guidance she lived a blessed, joyous, humble and fulfilled life in his name. Her love for her children and grandchildren filled her life with happiness and joy. Brenda was previous employed by the Albany Fire Department, Albany City School District and the Albany County Department of Aging.
Brenda was predeceased in 1991 by her husband of 41 years John J, D’Antonio. She was the proud mother of, and is survived by, Regina D’Antonio, Angela (Charles) Bianchino, Nicholas (Debra) D’Antonio, and John (Darlene) D’Antonio. Brenda is also survived by her cherished sisters Mary Fresina and Velma Calabrese; 9 loving grandchildren, Stephanie & Andrea Smerznak, Charles, Rocco, Regina & Anthony Bianchino, Leslee & Ashley D’Antonio, and Sonny D’Antonio, and 5 great-grandchildren, Neiko, Charles & A’Dante Bianchino, Sophia Bellville, and Vincent Robert Livreri. She was pre-deceased brothers Bernard and Nicholas DiBiase.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at 10 a.m. at St. James Church, 391 Delaware Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Avenue, Monday, November 23, 2009 from 4-8pm. Interment Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
