Crudo, Matthew “Matty”

DELMAR- Our precious angel, Matthew “Matty” Peter Crudo, born on March 19, 2015, beloved son of Matthew and Tracy Crudo went to be with the Lord, Saturday, January 26, 2019.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his devoted big sister Isabella; grandparents Peter and Julie Bukowski, Nicholas and Christine Crudo; great-grandmother Dolores Agneta; aunts and uncles David Crudo (Tina), Peter Bukowski (Tricia), Shawn Bukowski (Elizabeth), Godfather Brett Bukowski and aunt Alyssa Bukowski; Godmother Barbara Agneta; cousins Nicholas, Maeve, Addison, Michael, Easton; numerous great aunts, great uncles, other family and friends who loved Matty very much.

A very special thank you to Matty’s therapy team and their dedication and love, the doctors of Boston Children’s Hospital and Albany Medical Center and special thank you to Dr. Todd Giombetti, pediatrician and their staff.

Matty loved the outdoors and going for long walks, playing with his best friend Isabella and sharing snacks with his best pal Cooper. He loved music and Mickey Mouse and learning new things. Although his time on earth was short, the impact he had was monumental.

Matty touched so many lives. His infectious smile and laugh would light up the room. He stole the hearts of anyone he met. He faced challenges with a smile and never gave up. Matty defined strength and in three short years lived to be a true inspiration to all.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Matty’s family Wednesday, January 30 from 4-7 pm in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Pl. Delmar. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 31 at 10:00 am in the Church. Interment will follow the Mass in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a donation to Ronald McDonald House, 139 South Lake Ave., Albany, NY 12208 or to St. Thomas the Apostle School, 42 Adams Place, Delmar, NY 12054.
