Ciarfello, Joanne M.

ALBANY - Joanne Martin Ciarfello, 76, passed away surrounded by her loving family Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at the Teresian House after a brief illness. Born in Albany, she was the first daughter of the late Joseph F. and Lois Smith Martin. She graduated from Columbia High School. Joanne was employed at Public School 18 and with CVS.

She is survived by her sons Michael C. and Anthony J. Ciarfello; and her sisters Mariann Jordan (Joseph), Lois Sherman (Charles), and Lorraine Martin (Ed Withkowski); also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Charles, son Daniel and sister Barbara J. (Martin) Vaughn.



Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Friday, October 28 from 4-7 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Oct 29, at 9 am in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
