Christopher M. Kirker

Christopher M. "Pollcat" "Kirk" "PA" Kirker 67, of East Berne passed away on Monday November 20, 2023. Born in Albany on January 8, 1956, he is the son of the late Christie W. and Eileen P. (Ryan) Burns.

Chris is survived by his brother Sean and sister Eileen Kirker. Janice Maxwell Kirker, his wife of 43 years.

His daughter Courtnie Finkell (Erik Finkell) sons Ryan, Shane Kirker (Valerie Munn-Kirker) and daughter Mary along with nine grandchildren, Gabrielle, Shane Jr, Olivia, Kinley, Kendall, Annabelle, Daniel, Helena, Christopher and one great granddaughter Mia.

Beside his parents Chris is predeceased by his son Jason Kirker.

Chris worked hard for 35 yrs. as an Operating Engineer in the local Union 158. He also worked proudly alongside the Albany Police department as the Albany County Animal Control Officer for several years.

Anyone that really knows "Kirk" knew he was the man, a true legend, one of a kind. He had the biggest heart, would do anything for anyone. He lived a happy fulfilled life doing what he loved like fishing, racoon hunting with his hound dogs and listening to his music. Everyone loved Chris Kirker!

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday November 24, 2023, at th Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Avenue, Albany, NY 12209 from 4 pm to 7 pm. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday November 25, 2023, at 10 am at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 391 Delaware Avenue, Albany, NY 12209.
