ALBANY- Antoinette R. (Satalino) Catalano, 104, passed away Monday, April 30, 2018 at St. Peter’s Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was the daughter of Martino and Vincenza (Racchia) Satalino and wife of the late Samuel F. Catalano. She was born in Albany on February 7, 1914 and attended and graduated from St. Anthony School.
Mrs. Catalano worked for John G. Myers Company in the auditing and cashier department. She was a former Rosarian of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and a devoted member of the Blue Army of the Blessed Mother of Fatima for over 70 years.
Devoted mother of Blanche Carpenter and Virginia (George) Allen; grandmother of George (Annie) Allen, Lynn (Jeff) Pfledder, Mark (Lisa) Allen, Michelle Allen and Bruce (Janet) Carpenter; loving great-grandmother of seven; sister of Jessie Brady and the late Rose, Steven, Joseph and Carmen Satalino. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family Thursday, May 3, from 4-7 p.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 4 at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home thence to The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 125 Eagle St. where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
