Casillo, Robert H.

ALBANY- Robert H. Casillo, 86, passed away on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Shaker Place. Born in Keene, NH, he was the son of the late Guy and Louise (Bulley) Casillo. Bob was the husband of the late Marguerite (Fiato) Casillo.

Bob served in the US Army during the 1950s. He was a firefighter for the City of Albany retiring after 25 years of service. Bob also owned and operated a landscaping business. He was a member of the Italian American Community Center and an avid bocce ball player. Robert enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking, going to the casinos, watching the Atlanta Braves baseball games and the Colts play football. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Bob is survived by his cherished and beloved daughter Lisa (Joseph) Rullo; loving grandchildren Gina (Jason) Ragland, Vincent Rullo, Joseph Isabella and Peter Isabella. He was step-father of Peter (Dori) Isabella and the late Patricia Isabella; and dear friend of the late Barbara Gruft.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with his family on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. His funeral service will follow at 11:30 am. Masks are required. Inurnment will be at 1:30 pm at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Gerald B. H.
