SCHENECTADY- Jeffrey A. Carey, 42 died suddenly, Sunday, December 05, 2010, at his home.

Born in Albany he was the son of the late Arthur and Ione (Mero) Carey. Jeffrey worked for the NYS Office of Persons with Developmental Disabilities in Schenectady.

Husband of Christine L. (Riley) Carey; father of Jennifer and Brittany Carey; brother of Richard (Cheryl) Carey of Colonie and Edward (Linda) Carey of East Greenbush and the late Jay Carey; son-in-law of Lois Riley of Colonie; brother-in-law of Dawn (Michael) Clough and Meredith (Mike) Poole both of Colonie. Jeffrey is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 4-8pm the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave. Albany. Funeral services will be Friday December 10, 2010 at 10am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Colonie.
