Caranfa, Nancy “Maria Nunzia”

ALBANY- Nancy Caranfa, 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 11, 2017. Born in Villalago, Italy, the daughter of the late Aurelio Caranfa and Carissima Iafolla, she immigrated to the US in 1954 and settled in Albany. She was predeceased by her husband Iginio Caranfa and her siblings in Italy. She is survived by her children Luciana Caranfa and Joseph Caranfa; grandchildren Christopher Caranfa, Jennifer Kenna, Joseph and Nicole Caranfa; and two great-grandchildren Nicholas and Laura Kenna.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 4-7 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Her Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 14 at 8:15 am from the funeral home thence to All Saints Catholic Church, Homestead St. where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 am. Entombment will follow the Mass in the mausoleum of Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, Schenectady.
