Calsolaro, Anna E.

ALBANY- Anna E. Calsolaro, 89, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021. Born on January 17, 1932 in Albany where she grew up, married Joseph D. Calsolaro Sr. in 1950, and raised their six children. She was predeceased by her mother Nancy Ecuyer, husband Joseph D. Calsolaro, Sr., brothers Robert and Anthony Ecuyer and her nephew Robert Ecuyer. Anna, known to her family and friends as Jeanne, was a stay-at-home Mom. Jeanne was a devoted Roman Catholic and attended daily Mass. She is survived by her children: Joseph D. (Colette) Calsolaro, Jr., Dominick M. (Mary) Calsolaro, Nancy R. (Matt) Calsolaro Smulsky, Anna M. Calsolaro, Anthony R. (Bill) Calsolaro, and John F. Calsolaro. Besides her children, she is survived by six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces and nephews and their children.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the Community Hospice, especially Beth Lee, Varsha Joseph, and Doug Burneigh whose constant attention, vigil, and prayers were priceless during Anna's last weeks. To honor our Mother’s wishes, there are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, September 30, 2021 in The Cathedral of theImmaculate Conception, 125 Eagle St., Albany, NY. A private burial will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Albany.
