Callahan, Mary M.

ALBANY- Mary M. Callahan, 81, died Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at St. Peter’s Hospital.

Born in Lake Placid, NY she was the daughter of the late Leo and Genevieve (Spellman) Malone. Mrs. Callahan along with her husband and later her son operated Bob Callahan Agency Inc. on Delaware Ave. in Albany from 1969 until 2003. She was a loving caretaker to her mother, husband and beloved pets.

Wife of the late Robert Callahan; mother of Kevin R. (Jeanne) Callahan of Albany, Anne M. (Edward) Davis of Guilderland and Mary Kathleen “Molly” Callahan of Coeymans; grandmother of Michele (Mark) Champagne Dorsey of Selkirk, Kathryn Dorsey of Frankfort, MI, Robert Davis of Boulder, CO, Michael Davis of Guilderland and Shannon Nolan of Coeymans. Mrs. Callahan was predeceased by her brothers Leo A. and James W. Malone.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 10am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 391 Delaware Ave. Albany. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private.
