Brown, Anna E.

ALBANY- Anna E. (Franklin) Brown, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022. Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Charles Frankiln and Minerva Field. Anna was employed at Picotte Realty for 25 years.

Anna was an amazing, selfless, and loving personwho dedicated her life to her family whom she loved dearly. She enjoyed cooking, listening to the radio and bus trips to various places, especially to the casinos.

In addition to her parents, Anna was predeceased by her husband Wesley L. Brown, daughter Cherie (Brown) Chorens and son Wesley Brown. She is survived by her children Donnie (Liz), Gary (Anza), and Pam (Dave) Myers, Robin Allen, Karen Brown, Laurie (Gregg) Schmid, and Jeffrey Brown; her son-in-law Carlos Chorens; also survived by 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service on Monday, November 21, at 1:00 pm at Calvary Cemetery, 481 Rt. 9 W, Glenmont. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 510 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
