Bowe, Joseph M.

DELMAR- Joseph M. Bowe, 88, died Saturday, September 21, 2013 at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Delmar. Born and educated in Albany County, he was the son of the late Joseph J. Bowe and Henrietta Hauser Osborn. Mr. Bowe was a Navy Veteran of WWII, serving aboard a destroyer escort in the South Pacific and Asiatic Theatres. He was employed by Sterling Drug for 36 years, retiring in 1986.

He is survived by his sister, Ruth A. Bowe of Delmar.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Norman E. Dascher Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may visit at the Dascher Funeral Home one hour prior to the service. (10 to 11 a.m.) Interment will be in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery, Glenmont.
