Blaisdell, Mary T.

SELKIRK- Mary T. (Morby) Blaisdell, 68, died Friday, November 11, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late William and Jennie (Dayter) Morby. Mary worked for many years at Town and Tweed in Delmar and later worked for the NYS Department of Tax and Finance and the Department of Motor Vehicles. She was a longtime member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Delmar. She loved all animals and especially enjoyed watching the many ducks around her pond. Mary loved being surrounded by family, the outdoors and camping.

Mother of Gordon W.(Irene) Blaisdell, Sr. of Delmar, Raymond B. (companion-Bonnie) Blaisdell of New Baltimore, Bonita (John) K. Zupan of Greenville and Robert W. (companion-Dawn) Blaisdell of Selkirk; sister of James (Harriett) Morby of Guilderland, Robert (Elda) Morby of Clarksville, Stanley (late Hazel) Morby, Sr. of Freehold, Patricia Harbeck of Guilderland, Gloria (Dewey) Northrup of Westerlo and Raymond Morby of AZ; grandmother of Stephanie Blaisdell, Andrea Hancock, Gordon Blaisdell, Jr., James Dooley, Nicolle Blaisdell, Brian Blaisdell, Brandon Harwood and Joseph Heath, great-grandmother (Gee Gee) of Sanora, Willie, Jocelynn, Jackson, Bryce,Craig and Haley; also survived by her former husband Gordon A. Blaisdell and many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her brothers Richard, Gerald, Lawrence and Jack Morby and a sister Delores Luck.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 10:00 am in Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 85 Elm Ave. Delmar, NY. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Graceland Cemetery, Albany.
