Biance, Josephine

ALBANY- Josephine Zappala Biance, 89, died Sunday May 6, 2012 at Diamond Hill in Troy.

Born in Albany she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Felecia (Girgenti) Zappala. Mrs. Biance was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Parish (the former St. James Church).

Former wife of the late Martin Biance; sister of the late Eleanor, Anthony, Sunday and Alfred Zappala; aunt of Anthony Zappala. She is also survived by many cousins and special friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, May 11, 2012 at 10:00 am in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 391 Delaware Ave. Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home prior to the Mass from 8:30 to 9:30 am. Interment will be in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery in Colonie.
