Beverly Jean Hebbard

ALBANY - Beverly Jean (Herrewyn) Hebbard, 92, passed away on Saturday December 28, 2024. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Cornelius and Olive (Brownell) Herrewyn. She attended Philip Schuyler High School and worked for the Town of Colonie as an administrative aide. She retired in 1999 after 22 years of service. Mrs. Hebbard was a longtime member of the Mayfield Yacht Club on Sacandaga Lake. She and her husband used to publish and mail the club newsletter, the Armchair Yachtsmen. She enjoyed golfing and was a previous member of the Town of Colonie Golf League. She was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Howard Ray Hebbard, who she married in 1951.

Beverly is survived by her children, Lawrence R. (Mary Ann) Hebbard of Ballston Spa and Wendy J. (Paul) Doring of Hampden, MA; brother, John J. (Marilyn) Herrewyn of Latham; grandchildren, Christopher (Amy) and Keith (JoAnn) Hebbard; great-grandchildren, Carter and Tyler Hebbard; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave, Albany on Thursday January 2nd from 4 to 6pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday January 3rd at 11am at the funeral home. She will then be interred in the Onesquethaw Cemetery in the spring.
