Betsy A. Shearer

Betsy Ann Shearer, 79, passed away September 12, 2023, at her home in Albany. Betsy, who was fondly known to her family and many friends as BA, was born September 11, 1944, in Brownwood TX, daughter of James and Dorothy Shearer. She grew up and attended Griffith Institute High School in Springville NY. and SUNY Delhi where she obtained a degree in Veterinary Technology. She was a longtime supporter of community, animal and personnel health issues. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday October 21, 2023, from 10 am to 11 am at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Avenue, Albany.
