Bertrand, Rosena M.

ALBANY – Rosena M. (Dubey) Bertrand, 96, died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter’s Hospital. Born in St. Bedore, Canada she was raised in Tupper Lake, NY and moved to Albany in 1943. Mrs. Bertrand was a production worker for Simmons Tool Company retiring in 1979 after 17 years of service. She was a Communicant of St. James Church.

Wife of the late Gilbert C. Bertrand; mother of the late Charlotte Baker; sister of Leona Bombard of Tupper Lake, NY, Leon Dubey of Rockford, IL. and the late Rose Drasye , Albert Dubey, Henry Dubey , Felix Dubey , Bertha Martin, Homer Dubey and Arthur Dubey. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 2, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Funeral Home, Thursday, April 1, 2010 from 5-8pm. Interment, Memory’s Garden Cemetery, Colonie.
