Bartell, John R.

SARASOTA, FL.-John R. Bartell, 74, formerly of Albany, NY died Tuesday, June 22, 2010. Born and educated in Albany he was the son of the late John H. and Antoinette (Salvatore) Bartell. John was a Navy veteran and a retired tax auditor for New York State.

Survivors include his wife, Joan (Palmer) Bartell; a son, John D. (Joan Frank), and their daughter, Jaclyn, all of Silver Spring, Md.; daughters, Diane Bartell of Rockville, Md. and Robin (Kelly) Hagerty and their daughters, McKenna, Ryan and Peyton all of Maitland Fl. He is also survived by many extended family members.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 am Saturday, August 28, 2010 in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home on Friday, August 27, 2010 from 6 to 8 pm. Inurnment will follow the service in Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Colonie.
