Barron, Kristin P.

ALBANY- Kristin P. Barron, 68, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2021. Born in Bedford, England, she was the daughterof the late Patrick and Elizabeth Barron. She is survived by her husband Steven Shashok, her daughters Kaitlyn and Tegan Barron-Shashok, her sister Maria Kenyon, and friends and family around the world.

Kristin led a full life characterizedby her commitment to social justice causes, her service to others, and a keen sense of adventure. After a career working in various education settings, she spent her retirement volunteering with many local organizations, including Planned Parenthood, Citizen Action, Capital District Border Watch, and Literacy New York.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with her family on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 3pm to 6pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 DelawareAve., Albany. Funeral servicewill follow at 6pm. The family requests all in attendance to please wear a mask.Intermentwas held in Vale Cemetery, Schenectady.
