Archer, Mary A.

ALBANY- Mary A. Archer, 76, passed away Friday, January 13, 2023 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Albany and educated in Ravena, she was the daughter of the late Felix and Anna Mae Haynes. Mary worked for over 30 years at Albany Medical Center, first in the food service department and later with the SITS program. She loved taking care of her cats Topsie, Tiger, Putter and Tinker. She was artistically talented and enjoyed collecting items for her home.

Mary was predeceased by her husband John Raymond Archer. She is survived by her son John P. Archer (Lisa); her sister Geraldine Swart; grandchildren John A. Archer (Kayla) and Tiffany; great-granddaughters Lilly and Daisy Archer; and her nephew William Swart.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Mary’s family on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 4:00-6:00 pm in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave. Interment will be held privately.
