Andrew Grimm

ALBANY- Andrew Grimm passed away peacefully at home December 1, 2023 surrounded by family.

He is predeceased by his parents, both brothers and a nephew. He is survived by his sister, brother-in-law, five daughters, eleven grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

He lived most of his life in Cropseyville, New York, graduating from Troy High School, RPI and SUNY Albany.

An enthusiastic member owner of the Honest Weight Food Co-op and avid  supporter of Pine Hollow Arboretum and Opus 40, he loved exploring intriguing ideas, engineering creative home repair solutions, and engaging in deep conversations with everyone he met.

A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.

Andrew’s family would like to express deep appreciation to the staff and volunteers at NY Oncology Hematology, Albany Interventional Radiology, New York Proton Center, NYC Hope Lodge, and Community Hospice. Their knowledgeable, caring, and heartfelt service was invaluable.
