Willi, Rodrick A. “Rod”

GLENMONT-Rodrick “Rod” Alan Willi, 45, of Glenmont was called to eternal glory December 24, 2015 at St. Peter’s Hospital in Albany. His death was sudden and unexpected.

Rod was born August 17, 1970 in Middletown, NY. He is survived by his father Alan Willi and preceded in death by his mother Gretchen. He is also survived by brothers Scott (Kimberly and daughter Riley Ann), and Daniel (Stephanie and son Jackson Charles and daughter Anna Olivia).He was the godfather of Jackson and Anna.

Rod was a graduate of Bethlehem High School class of 1988, attended the University of Vermont and graduated from SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry at Syracuse University in 1993.Rod had worked with Pavement Technologies International Corp.in Albany.

Rod had spent his childhood in Liberty, NY and moved to Albany, NY with his family. He then lived in Marietta, Georgia and moved back to Glenmont.

Rod was an avid runner, and had passions for volleyball, soccer, and automobiles.He was devoted servant of the Lord and was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Delmar where he was a member of the bell choir.

Visitation will be held at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 85 Elm Ave., Delmar on Wednesday December 30, 2015 from the hours of 3:00-7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at 11:00 am.Those wishing to make donations may do so to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church or the American Red Cross, P.O.
